My name is Amanda and I transformed my life. I can help you transform yours too!
For over a decade I suffered from:
DISEASES: Surgeries to repair the diseases, medications to fight the diseases, and diseases as a result of the medications.
CHRONIC ILLNESS: Hundreds of hours of sick time, decreased productivity at work, and suffering relationships.
ANXIETY: Over-consumption of alcohol to calm the anxiety, anxiety resulting from the over-consumption of alcohol, Xanax to calm the anxiety, sleep aids to turn off the mind monkeys who fed on the anxiety, obscene amounts of caffeine to wake myself up each morning from the sleep aids, anxiety from all the caffeine… repeat ad nauseam.
At the age of 40, I had reclaimed my health and found my best self. Amazingly, 100 percent of the diseases and 100 percent of the medications are gone! At an age where most women start to feel their worst, I have more energy than ever; I am in the best shape of my life; and my stress levels are at an all-time low. My eyesight is improving at an age where deterioration is the norm.
Because of my experiences with poor health, I became obsessed with good health and healing; It became my passion. I spent a year studying hundreds of diets and lifestyles through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN) with the world’s leading nutrition and wellness experts, including Dr. Andrew Weil, Deepak Chopra, Joel Fuhrman, David Wolfe, Arthur Agatson, and Geneen Roth. The philosophies and techniques I learned and practice have no government or food industry influence. As a Holistic Health Coach, I am trained to be forward-thinking while combining traditional health concepts and both ancient and modern practices.
I live an abundant and healthy life with my handsome fireman boyfriend in Southern California. I enjoy anything that gets me outdoors, especially hiking, running, biking, and stair climbing. I ran the L.A. Marathon twice and have run numerous half marathons. I enjoy cooking and love the challenge of transforming everyday dishes into healthy and nutrient rich meals.
I practice yoga regularly to keep my body and mind flexible and strong. Yoga is key to keeping the “mind monkeys” in their cage. I love travel, as I find it broadens the mind. Helping foster children and the underserved are a passion of mine, and I find the work rewarding for my heart and soul.
I have a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and a CPA license. After billing thousands of hours in public accounting, and literally almost killing myself doing it, I have achieved work/life balance as a Controller for a private equity firm in Los Angeles.
